Easter Eggs and Bunnies are popping up every where.  We have a special shelf of Easter and Bunny books ready for check out.

Finished painting spring flowers on the library windows today.  Best type of flowers yet, plant them and forget they are there until they need to come down (sometime in August I think).  No weeding, no watering.  And they will never need pruning or fertilizer.  Best flowers yet.

I will be placing a large magazine order this week.  So soon we will have over 15 new magazine subscriptions.  On the list is:

  • National Geographic
  • Today's Parent
  • Canadian Woodworker
  • Quilting Today
  • Scrapbooking
  • Card Making
  • Chatelaine

Drop by and see what is new and changing.  Coffee and tea are always on.

Now off to finish "Three Day Road" by Joseph Boyden, my new favorite Canadain author.  By the way, he is the Author in Residence for the Athabasca Unviersity.  Recently read two others Joesph has written, Born with a Tooth (a collection of short stories) and Amoung Black Spruce.  Both excelllent reads.

Happy reading

Jen the Librarian
